"As a painter, it is an honor, as well as humbling to have the ability to bring a painting to life. It is magical to take paint and brush to a flat canvas, and through the use of value, composition and color, create something that has a sense of depth and feeling. It is just as thrilling to have someone be moved by my artwork. When I travel in search of new ideas I am continually awe-struck by the beauty of nature. My paintings are an effort to capture and share a reflection of that beauty."
